Privacy Policy

Last updated 20 October 2026

Corex (“we”, “us”) runs corexdrill.com, a marketplace for drilling equipment and a drilling jobs board. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

We don't ask for sensitive information. Please don't include things like health details, tax file numbers or bank details in a message or résumé.

How we use it

We don't sell your information, and we don't add you to a mailing list without asking.

Job applications

When you apply for a job, your details and résumé are emailed straight to the employer named on the job ad. We do not keep a copy of your résumé. We keep a record of your name, contact details and message so we can manage the jobs board and deal with any problems. We delete these records after 12 months.

Once the employer receives your application, they handle it under their own privacy obligations. Contact the employer directly about what they do with it.

Who we share it with

Our hosting is in Australia. Some providers we use (for example, our content delivery network) may process data overseas.

Keeping it secure

Our site uses HTTPS, our admin area is password protected, and access to personal information is limited to the people who run Corex.

Cookies

The public site doesn't use tracking or advertising cookies. Our admin area uses a cookie to keep staff signed in. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which may record your IP address.

Access, correction and deletion

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Contact us using the details below and we'll respond within 30 days.

Complaints

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, contact us first so we can try to fix it. If you're still not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
